Beef Cannelloni made with Pasta Cannelloni Shells, Beef and Vegetables

Beef Cannelloni

Ingredients, Method & Procedure.


10 Cannelloni Shells
5 to 6 Cloves garlic chopped
1 large onion chopped
1 medium celery chopped
1/4 lbs carrots diced or chopped
1 lb beef minced
1/2 lbs ricotta Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese shredded
Olive Oil for cooking
Salt, pepper, seasoning salt
Italian Seasonings

Serving: 8 persons

Procedure & Method

1) In a cooking pot heat up olive oil add Chopped garlic when the garlic is light golden brown add Chopped onion and cook until soft. Then add celery and cook for few more minutes, then add the rest of the chopped or diced carrots. Cook for few minutes.

2) Boil the Cannelloni shells in salted boiling water for 6 or 7 minutes or until it is andante.

3) Add the minced beef to the pot of vegetables and continue cooking stirring occasionally, add salt, pepper and Italian seasonings to Taste and cook until the meat is completely cooked.

4) After the meat is cooked, let it cool off a little bit by spreading it on a tray or letting the pot stand a little bit. When it is warm add ¾ off the ricotta cheese to the vegetable and beef mix and mix it well with a wooden spoon. After the mixture is ready stuff the cannelloni shell with the mix using a spoon.

5) Take a casserole dish and layer it with the left over ¼ ricotta cheese then place the stuffed cannelloni shell on the layered cheese and then cover the stuffed shells with grated mozzarella cheese.

6) Bake in the oven at 350 F for 6 to 8 minutes until the cheese has melted completely or is golden brown.
