Cauliflower with potatoes



Ingredients, Method & Procedure.

1 lb Cauliflower

1 lb Potatoes

3.5 oz Onion

1 cup Vegetable oil

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

1 tsp Cumin seeds

1 oz Fresh Coriander leaves

0.35 oz Green Chili

Salt to taste

1. Cut the cauliflower and separate the florets, cut the potatoes in thick juliennes, slice the onions and chop the green chilies.

2. In a heavy bottom pan, heat oil then add the thick juliennes of potatoes to it and fry until golden brown, remove it from the oil and keep it aside.

3. Then add the cumin seeds to the oil followed by the sliced onions and chopped green chilies, stir until the onions turn light brown.

4. Then add into it turmeric powder followed by the cauliflower florets, and stir, when the cauliflower have cooked 3/4th then add into it the thick juliennes of fried potatoes.

5. Cook until the cauliflower and potatoes are properly done and salt to taste, add chopped coriander leaves and remove from flame.

6. Serve with rice or paratha.
