Ingredients, Method & Procedure.

1 lb Refined Flour

1 cup Vegetable oil

1 lb Potatoes

5 oz Green Peas

0.35 oz Curry leaves

3 oz Onion

0.35 oz Green Chili

1 tsp Chili powder

1 tsp Turmeric powder

Salt to taste

1. Prepare the dough by mixing refined flour, with vegetable oil and salt to taste, do not add water to the dough, and after the dough is ready keep it aside.

2. For the filling, boil the potatoes and green peas separately after the potatoes have cooled, peel and roughly dice the boiled potatoes.

3. In a pan heat oil, and add curry leaves for seasoning followed by chopped onion and chopped green chili and stir till the onion turns golden brown, then add chili powder and turmeric powder and stir then add in the green peas followed by the diced boiled potatoes into it and mix well and cook till the potatoes turn golden brown and add salt to taste.

4. Then divide the dough into small balls and roll it into flat bread and then cut into semi-circle, from the center, take one of the semi-circle and stick the two edges of the bread to make into an upside down triangle shape and use water to seal the edges.

5. Stuff with the filling in this upside down triangle and seal the edges with water.

6. After all of them have been stuffed, in a deep frying pan heat oil and deep fry the samosa’s till the crust turns light golden, see to it that it cooks evenly on all sides.

7. It can be served with tomato ketchup for breakfast or snacks.
