Chicken and Rice

Ingredients, Method & Procedure.

1 cup rice (uncooked-white or brown or combination, but not instant rice)

1 can condensed mushroom soup

1 cup water

3-4 chicken thighs, at least one with the skin still on (if you use skinless chicken it will be a little too dry and not very flavorful)

1/3 package onion soup mix

1. Mix rice, mushroom soup and water together in a casserole dish. Press chicken pieces into rice mixture and sprinkle onion soup mix over top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 2 hours. Let sit for about 10 minutes before serving. (Take the skin off before serving too.)
